( Above is Hans Paul Heim Sr : see 4-10-2002 email from Stewart Hinds that says that Hans Paulus Heim was born 10-7-1712 and arrived at Philadelphia on the Ship, James Goodwill on Sept 27, 1727. The 2nd Hans is a Jr. son of Hans Paulus Heim Sr. Maybe Hans Paulus Jr. suggested to his brother Wilhelm and his sister Anna Margaretha Heim Groscost and husband Philip Groscost about coming to PA as they migrated and arrived Sept 1730)

NNA MARGARETHA (HEIM) HIMES, 18-4-2:
3-3-02 Marguerite Crist Calvin (cristcalvin @ohiohills.com) sent another email with information that Wilhelm Heim was born May 10, 1715 which is wrong, Wilhelm Groscost, son of Anna Margaretha and Philip Groscost was born May 10, 1715. The page will be put with Wilhelm Heim's family page.
There was more information but mostly in German which I could not decipher so I have sent an email back to her to get it in English. It listed a Charles A. Groscost, and Kinder, zu Mutterstadt, geboren: may mean kin born in Mutterstadt
1) Wilhelm b. 10-5-1715 (May 10, 1715) Paten Wilhelm Heim, ledig und Anna Margareta Reisinger, ledig.
(not sure if this is Wilhelm and wifes name or the parents of Wilhelm.
2) Christoph (Christopher) b 15-2-1717 (Feb 15, 1717) Mutterstadt 15-2-1735 mit Johanna Steiger T. D. Schultheissen zu Mutterstadt Johann Theobald Steiger. Bei Der Vater Burger in Pennsylvanien ist.
(not sure if Christopher is Wilhelm's brother & Chris m. Johnanna Steiger dau of T.D. etc. above
3) Anna Elizabeth 19-3-1719 (b. Mar 19, 1719) IS THIS ANNA ELIZ HEIM, SISTER TO WILHELM?
4) Philip Daniel 8-11-1721 (b. Nov 8, 1721) Paten: Philip Daniel Saar und dessen Frau Elixabetha
It also said that Wilhelm Heim was a brother to Ann Margaretha Heim and Hans Paul Heim.
It said that Ann Margaretha Heim was wife of Philip Groscost
It said that Wilhelm Heim unmarried and Anna Margaretha Reisinger, unmarried were on the ship IN 1727.
It mentions a Charles A. Groscost, emigrating to America, Question, is this the father of Philip Groscost or related to Philip Groscost who was married to Anna Margaretha Heim

4-10-2002:NOTE FROM DOTTIE PORTER HIMES -THOUGHTS ON THE SPONSORS OF WILHELM Groscost
"A" Wilhelm Heim, unmarried and "AN" Anna Margaretha Reisinger, unmarried, were listed as sponsors for the baptism in 1715 of Wilhelm Groscost born May 10, 1715, the son of Wilhelm's sister, Anna Margaretha Heim and Phillip Groscost.
These were some of my thoughts:
1. Wilhelm Heim b. abt 1710, did not get marry till 1730 and he married a Judith, so Anna Margaretha Reisinger could not be his wife.
2. Then I thought that maybe Wilhelm Heim b. about 1710 was the son of Wilhelm Heim and Ann Margaretha Reisinger, since Wilhelm Heim had a sister named Anna Margaretha, but that is wrong as Ann Margaretha Reisinger was not married at the time of the baptism 1715, and she could not be Wilhelm's mother.
3. My last thought is that the sponsors for Wilhelm Groscost b 1715, son of Anna Margaretha Heim and Philip Groscost, which was:
Wilhelm Heim, was defintely the brother of Anna Margaretha Heim Groscost and
Anna Margaretha Reisinger has to be related in some way.
The mother of Wilhelm Grossocst which was Anna Margaretha Heim Groscost, must have been named after Anna Margaretha Reisinger. Anna Margaretha Reisinger was unmarried, but have not seen any Reisingers in the family. Perhaps she was an Aunt that married a Reisinger and sister to Wilhelm Heim Sr. the father of Wilhelm Heim 18-2 and Anna Margaretha Heim. However, Anna Reisinger, at the time of the baptism was unmarried, unless she was divorced, making her status unmarried.

Notes for P
HILIP GROSCOST:
There was a descendant in America, Charles Groscost, and he converted to the Mormon church from the Reformed Church and lives in Toole, Utah. Also there were other descendants still living in Ohio and Pennsylvania. This Charles Groscost may be the father of Philip Groscost??

NNA HIMES and PHILIP GROSCOST are:
  i.   WILHELM4 GROSCOST, 18-4-2-1, b. May 10, 1715, Mutterstadt, Germany; d. Unknown.
  Notes for WILHELM GROSCOST, 18-4-2-1:
Wilhelm Heim was godfather of his sister's child, Wilhelm Groscost. At the time Wilhelm was not married and the other sponsor was Anna Margaretha Reisiger, unmarried. Perhaps Anna Margaretha Reisinger married Wilhelm Heim.

  ii.   CHRISTOPHER GROSCOST, 18-4-2-2, b. Feb 14, 1717, Mutterstadt, Germany; d. Unknown; m. JOHANNA STEIGER, Feb 14, 1735, Married by T. D. Schultheissen; b. Abt. 1717; d. Unknown.

Notes for ANNA ELISABETH GROSCOST, 18-4-2-3:
Dottie Himes found some info written down without the source:
Anna Elizabeth Groscost b. 1670 and then 1687-1743???
Perhaps this is the grandmother of Anna Elisabeth Groscost and Elisabeth was named after her.
KEEP CHECKING
