| This is the start of the family tree research from Germany. The furthest back that I currently have been able to go back to Haio Hinrichs born February 7, 1727 in Schirum, Germany and died January 11, 1794 also in Schirum, Germany, spouse Altje Janseen born July 30, 1732 in Schirum, Germany and died March 9, 1803 in Schirum, Germany, they were married October 14, 1757 in Schirum, Germany. Their Great Grandson, Weert Hinrichs married Topke Theda Ahrends. She past away in July 31, 1884 in Middles, Ostfriesland, Germany. Weert left Germany with his children and arrived in America August 23, 1887. They proceeded directly to Clay County, Nebraska where he had already purchased the land. I plan to research this further to see if I can locate any of the other Hinrichs family relatives. I have recently met a distant relation of mine still living in Germany. We had a very nice meeting. I was able to even learn more famity information that once can only learn from a relative. |
