The Bohlen Family Home Page

I am currently tracing my Mother's and Father's family trees, both of my parents came from northern Germany--the farmlands that lie north of Bremerhaven near the North Sea. My father's last name is Bohlen and his family came from the village of Wehden, they had originally migrated from the village of Laven (not to far away). Other names in his family are Doscher, Gerdes, Scheper, Kruckmann and Edebohls. My mother's maiden name was Buck and her family came from Ringstedt (also Elmlohe, Lintig and Kuhrstedt, Dornsode). Other names in her family are Peper, Mahlstedt, Hildebrandt, Heins, Von Dohlen, and Wilkens.
I would be glad to share any information I have to any family members searching.
