In the name of God Amen.

I Tazewell Griffith of the Town of Honaker in the County of Russell and State of Virginia being of sound and disposing mind and memory. Do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and as to my worldly estate and all the property both real and personal of which I share lie seized and possessed, or to which I share be entitled at the time of my decease. I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to whit:

First My Will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executor hereinafter named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by him be found convenient.

Item: I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Louvina Griffith the use of all my real estate as long as she shall remain unmarried and my widow but on her decease or marriage I give and devise to my said nine children all the real estate that I own and possess at my decease to be equally divided between them.

2nd. I will and direct and devise that my said wife shall give to Pattie F Jackson 1 colt and four sheep and 1 side saddle to make her equal with the other children, and also she is to give Ruthia Thompson 1 colt to make her also equal.

3rd. I give unto my said wife as long as she lives and remains my widow all of my house hold and kitchen furniture and all of my personal property for her sole use and maintenance after all my indebtedness is fully paid and at my said wifes death or marriage I devise and direct my said real estate be equally divided between my said nine children and also all the personal property and household estate that remain after the death or marriage of my said wife is liqurvise to be equally divided between the said children I direct that the court appoint my executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In Testimony thereof I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declair this to be my last Will and Testament in presence of the Witnesses named below this December the 31st in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety four.

At a county court continued and held for Russell County at the court house thereof on the 5th day of September 1899.
The last Will and Testament of Tazewell Griffith decd. Was this day provided in court and proved by the oath of J. F. and W. D. Griffith the two subscribing witnesses thereto who testified that they witnessed said will at the request of the Testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other. Whereupon said Will was adminitted to probate in due form of law and ordered to be recorded.
