Universal Franklin (b. August 10, 1832, d. April 22, 1909)

Universal Franklin (daughter of James W Franklin and Nancy Amburgy) was born August 10, 1832 in Russell Co, Virginia, and died April 22, 1909. She married Rainwater Ramsey on Abt. 1849, son of William Ramsey and Susanna Bush.

From the Old Regular Baptists minutes:
Una Ramsey was born in Russell Co., Va. in 1831. She was the mother of 14 children, there having preceded her in death. Her husband was Rainwater Ramsey. She joined the United Baptist Church in 1877, afterward she became dissatisfied with their doctrine and joined the Regular Baptists at Caney Fork in Dickenson Co., Va. in 1906.
