Wright and Hale Families of Wise and Russell Co. Virginia

The Wright family that I'm researching first appeared on the 1830 census records of Russell Co. Va. and later in the Wise Co. census records when that part of Russell became Wise Co.The earliest members of this family that I've found are John Wright, born abt.1785 in Frederick Co. Va. and Martha McLaughlin, his wife.They lived mostly in and around Virginia City, Va.

My Mother's side of the family, Hale, begins with Thomas Hale. Most of these family members lived in Russell Co. Va. around Castlewood, Va.
