| I have started work looking for my ancestors and family. The surnames that I am looking for are: Hinojosa, Medina, Cardona, and Zapata. These family names came from South Texas And/or Northern Mexico. Would like information on my grandparents. They lived in Corpus Christi and Brownsville Texas.Parents names are: Samuel Medina Hinojosa and Junaita Cardona. Grandparents: Jesus Hinojosa and Nasaria Medina Luis Cardona and Trinidad Zapata Wife's grandparents were:Mariano Perez and Maria Olivares They too lived in South Texas, in the Valley. They lived there in the 1930s or thereabouts. My wife's great grand parents were:Thaddeus M. Rhodes from Relampago Ranch in South TX and Rafaela Hernandez from La Palma Ranch, Mexico. Lived there in the early 1900s. My great-great-great grandfather Jose Felix de Hinojosa and my great-great-great grandmother Maria Juana de Chapa lived in Reynosa Mexico.
