It's true what they say...you never realize what you have until it's gone.
As I get older, I truly realize how much family means to me. Especially the four most important people in my life...my husband, my son, my Mother and Father.

Let it be known, that I did not do all this research on my own. This is a joint effort by my late Uncle Robert Lee "Bobby" Unger, who did a tremendous amount of research on the Parsons/DeHaven lineage; John Douglas Shields, who researched the Shields lineage; Dolores (Snyder) Smith, who researched the Unger lineage; and Frederick Hitzel, who researched the Hitzel lineage. I am simply continuing their efforts.
