Hjortnaes, Smart, and Wheeler

I am currently researching the Hjortnaes' family from Vendsyssel, or northern Jutland in Denmark, and the Nelson's and Jorgensen's from the island of Fyn.
My wife is looking into the Smart family of New Hampshire. They first arrived sometime during the early 1600's. Her other family name is Wheeler, but there are a million of those. The Wheelers that we know of are here in Wisconsin.
