I am researching the Kiniry family. David Kiniry immigrated from County Cork, Ireland in 1860 to Philadelphia, PA. He fought for the Union Army in the Civil War with the Pennsylvania Volunteers. He married Mary Downey (Downing) in May 1867. They had 6 children, Mary, William, Julia, David, Catherine and Robert. My Grandfather was their son, David, born in 1878. He married my grandmother, Mary Torpey, on June 24, 1903. |
