Johann Georg Marsteller (son of Nicholas Marsteller and Elisabetha Crosmann) was born September 04, 1695 in Pfungstadt, Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany, and died October 19, 1751 in Upper Saucon Twp., Northampton Co., Pa.. He married Anna Margaretha Erlebach on 1728, daughter of Georg Erlebach.

By 1735 he and his family had settled in Upper Saucon Twp, Pa. He is
buried at Blue Church, the permanent successor to the Saucon congregation
visited by Muhlenberg. His first four children were baptized at Trappe by Rev. Stoever. The remaining six children were born in Upper Saucon.
