The South Georgia Hobby, Allen, Hall and Weeks Families

Updated May 19, 2007

Over the years I've wanted to research my entire family and have this invaluable information available for my grandchildren. It's nice to know where our ancestors came from. Some in my family already have a terrific beginning on this research and at least two books have been written and published. Much of my information comes from these books, so I certainly don't take that credit nor will I profit from their hard work, determination and dedication. Still, there is much research to be done. This page is for the collection and dissemination of family tree and lineage information about the Families of Hobby, Allen, Hall, and Weeks who settled in South Georgia over the past centuries. The Books available (that I am familiar with) are; "Weeks, Background and Beginnings" by Ruby Maude Weeks Priest and Hazel Willis Weeks and "The Hobby Family of South Georgia" by Robert J. Robinson. Please feel free to contact me for information or to contribute your information about these families. You also may wish to visit our Hobby Family of South Georgia Website.
