Rosenbalm per widow's pension #91394. 1880 Census Cerry Twp., Montgomery, Ks pg 23 Dwlg 184 Family 184; William Rosenbaum ae 62 farmer born Tn, father born Va, mother born Tn; Nancy L. Rosenbaum ae 70 wife Tn NC Va; John C. Epperson ae 18, son; Sallie Rosenbaum ae 13 daughter Tn Tn Tn; Lillie Rosenbaum ae 11 dau. born Iowa Tn Tn. 21 Jul 1875; Jacob W. Rosenbalm and John A. Epperson signed an affidavit stating they knew that Nancy Rosenbalm and he first husband, William Epperson had lived together as man and wife; D.P. Harrill and Daniel Hopson, also signed an affidavit on 14 May 1866 in Claiborne Co., Tn. Per Jane Green, great granddaughter of Thomas Greenough and Tennessee Epperson; William L. Rosenbalm and Nancy' daughter Sarah "Sally" Rosenbalm born abt 1867 in Claiborne Co., Tn. married 1st Harry Thompson in Missoula, Montana; married 2nd Mr. Wallace . Sarah died in New York City. Priscilla Rosenbalm, d/o Wm. L. and Nancy Rosenbalm; born about 1869 in Iowa also died in New York City. David Rosenbalm, born abt 1855 Claiborne Co., Tn. s/o John Rosenbalm and Martha Herrell Rosenbalm lived in Searcy Co., Ar. in 1880 near his brother Jacob Warner; In 1897 he lived at Gassville, Baxter, Arkansas when he signed an affidavit for the pension claim of his sister in law, Nancy Harris Rosenbalm, widow of Jacob. Per my aunts, Mattie Call, Annie Medlock and uncle, Jim Clark and their cousin, Butler Wallingsford; David and wife, Mary left Ar. by wagon and went to either Washington or Oregon to pick hops, later moved to Redland, Ca. where Mary still lived in early 1940s when Butler Wallingsford visited her.
