JaysonHoffman | Well reunion 2006 in Restoule is over and what a fantastic time. To those who couldn't make it, you missed a great time. There was some great updates to the family tree and great memories were made.I am making up a picture website soon and we can look back and remember the days spent by the beach, the water fun, the pig roast, corn boil, kids games, trip to the old farm house and volleyball games on the beach - (Hey Jesse and CJ, who's your volleyball daddy. Big daddy Ben and The big Jaybowski are the retired undefeated champions.Maybe in 3 years you may be good enough to beat us). Remember, I am still looking for updates and if you have any email address changes, please let me know. This is the family tree of Robert and Anna Hoffmann. They immagrated from Germany in the 1870's and settled in the Buffalo, NY area. This is the family tree last updated in 1980. Thanks to the Hoffman(n) family reunion on September 1st to 3rd 2000, the task of updating has been taken on by Jayson & Ben Hoffman. Any information can be given to either one of us at the following e-mail addresses. Thanks to Linda Jennings (grand-daughter of George Hoffmann) for putting together the monumental mailing list. If you want the complete list contact her at [email protected] as it will not be posted on this website. Thank You. Jayson For those of you who are wondering why some branches use 'Hoffmann' and some use 'Hoffman', this is the reason. The discrepancy in spelling of "HOFFMANN" in the U.S. and "HOFFMAN" in Canada came about when George, a business man, decided signing his name with one "N" was sufficent. Several brothers followed suit. |
