* The Hogans of Arlington, MA*

Updated September 6, 2000

I am actually just starting this. I started with my grandfather, Felix J. Hogan, who was born in Northern Bay, Newfoundland. His parents were Francis Hogan and Ann Hinchey. His brothers were Joseph, Patrick, Will, Frank, and Mike. His sisters were Elizabeth, Bridget, and Cecily. I was able to find some relatives in Newfoundland two years ago. Rita Janes' grandmother and my grandfather were brother and sister. They don't keep very good records in Newfoundland, so I am at a loss of what to do. I went to the Genealogy site in Waltham, MA and was able to find a document of when my grandfather came to Boston. Felix J. Hogan was the Captain of the L.A. Dunton, now in the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, CT. Felix J.Hogan was married to Bridget Murphy who came to the United States from Ireland. Any information on how to go about this would be most welcome.
