My Genealogy Home Page

This family study is the result of a number of years of research which occurred off and on since about 1973. Many sources were consulted including Federal archive records when I was living in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, correspondences with record offices in Ireland, Steuben County vital records located in Bath, NY, Corning,NY newspapers on microfilm, and family sources. Though much valuable information came from family word-of-mouth, the most significant breakthrough came from a documented account of my grandfather Hogue's experiences written by my uncle John Hogue provided me by his son, John Leo. While this research was a source of fun and very rewarding to me, I hope any relatives of the characters included here will derive some benefit.
