I am researching my family roots in south central PA (York/Adams counties). The Hoke family is a deep rooted Pennsylvania Dutch family. Casper Hoke, Michael Hoke, and Henry Hoke appear to be 18th and 19th century lineage.
George Hoke (1862-1933) was my great-grandfather who ran a store in Nashville, PA (York County) late 1800s through early 1900s. Dr. Martin Hoke, a family physician in Spring Grove, PA (York County)during this same time frame was his brother. Their father appears to be Henry Hoke.
Any information would be appreciated. I would be happy to share mine. Thanks! Jim Hoke
