Jacob Hollenbeck (son of Isaac Hollenbeck and Polly Smith) was born January 29, 1811, and died April 23, 1891. He married Elizabeth Countryman, daughter of Isaac Countryman and Delia Shanehultz.

Jacob was a mason and lived on a now-abandoned road between Brown's Hollow and Van Hornsville (1857 map) In 1869 his farm was 44 acres.
