The Holmes and Smith Clans

Welcome! Can we help one another? I'm currently looking for info on the HOLMES family of Cleveland, Ohio and Sheffield, England; the HOFFNER's of Ohio or further south; the REEDY's of Iowa; the CORFMAN/HUFFORD family of Penna Dutch extraction; any info on KAVOUR from Croatia; and SHUBECK of Austria/Germany. My best source coming into this (on the SMITH side) has been "The Descendants of John IRISH" which takes me back to the Pilgrims, and to about 900 AD. Even there we can only trace the SMITH line back to JEDUTHAN NICHOLS SMITH of Erie Co., NY, 1872-1941. If we can help one another, drop me a line!
