For clarification: Charles Holt is not the son or grandson
of Michael Holt of Orange Co. NC & Alamance Co. NC as it has finally
been proven by Family TREE DNA comparisons made in November, 2004. Relationship has also been established
between Charles Holt and John Holt, who married Sarah Fuller, and also to James
Holt who married Sarah Heflin, by the same DNA procedure in May 2005
and March 2006. These relationships do
imply that the elder John Holt referred to below must surely be the father of
said Charles, John, James, and William, Anne and others. Where known, I will refer to the older John
as Sr. and the youngest John as Jr.
