Adam Holle' migrated to Jamaica, W.I., from Essen, Germany. He and his son, John George Frederick Holle', were coopers(makers of rum barrels). His first wife's name was Amelia, and they had two children: Mary Charlotte Holle', and Eliza Johanne Holle'.

His second wife's name was Emily Helwig, and they had four children: Catherine Mary Holle', John George Frederick Holle'(my GGfather), Charlotte Catherine Holle', and Catherine Eleanor Holle', who may or may not have been a Postmaster, listed in the 1861 Directory.

Christopher Helwig migrated to Jamaica, W.I., from Essen, Germany. He was a gunsmith. He had three sisters: Emily, Wilhelmina, and Sarah. He and his wife, Mary Lannaman, who came from Lipzig, Germany, had seven children: Elizabeth Helwig, Henry Helwig, Adam George Helwig, Harriet Julia Helwig, my GGmother, William Helwig, and twins, Frederick and Charles Helwig.

John George Frederick Holle' married Harriet Julia Helwig(first cousins), and they had five children: Iris Lucille Holle'(former nurse in Hampton), Gertrude Marion Holle'(former Domestic Science Teacher in Westwood), Victor George Holle'(my Gfather), Reginald Christopher Holle', and Herbert Adam Holle'.

Victor George Holle' married Louise Lindo, and migrated to the USA. They had two children: Frederick Carlton Holle'(my father) and Madeline Holle'.

Frederick Carlton Holle' married Minna May Pauline Iverson, and they had two children: Frederick Allen Holle'(me), and Lois Ann Holle'.

Minna May Pauline Iverson's father was William Iverson, who had a sister, Antoinette Iwerson,(William changed the name to make it more Americanized) who married a Felix Winternitz. They had a son, Robert Winternitz, who later became Roland Winters, the movie actor, who played Charlie Chan, in the movies.
