Notes for Martha Jane Blair: Though I don't remember her, of course, my father loved this woman dearly. She was a small red-haired woman and he says she dressed elegantly. He had a black taffeta shawl of hers that was beautiful. He said he was her "pet" and he used to stay with her a lot. On cold winter nights when he was little, she would let him sleep with her in a f eather bed. Dates of birth and death taken from her tombstone.
