John Holmes Family history from Cotherstone to Alston and ?

We started with the Holmes of Alston, Cumberland as I was the last Holmes to be born there and have since met some wonderful people principally from Canada, New Zealand and America and have recently reestablished links into South Africa. We will publish more from there as it becomes available.
We then expanded into my wife Jane's family tree and she has attended several international meetings principally about the Tyson family from Wasdale Cumberland.
