Lizzie MYERS was born August 1, 1843 in Hagerstown, Washington County, MD. Her parents were Henry MYERS and Elizabeth TRAVER. Lizzie's family migrated to Ogle County, IL. Elizabeth MYERS married Nathan SMICE, son of Peter SMICE and Elizabeth PARKS, on August 11, 1871 in Ogle County, IL. Nathan SMICE was a farmer, operating in Pine Creek Township, Ogle County, IL. Nathan died in 1917. Lizzie Smice died November 10, 1924. Both she and Nathan are buried in "Dunkards" Cemetery (Pine Creek Brethren Cemetery), Ogle County, IL.
