Dock was born in McKinney, Texas area to Martin VanBuren Dyer and Palina Powell. He moved to Oklahoma near the Roff area in the late 1800's. He and his second wife Edna Blanche Helm Littleton was the parents of my father, Virgil Wallace Dyer
