Martin VanBuren Dyer (son of John Dyer and Angeline Unknown) was born 1840 in OH, USA⁵³⁷, and died May 06, 1900 in Roff, Ponotoc, Oklahoma⁵³⁸. He married Palina Ann Powell on December 18, 1865 in McKinney, Collin, Texas⁵³⁹, daughter of David Ellis Powell and Lucinda Shoemaker.

After his brother, John Richard Dyer's death in the civil war, he later married his widow-Perlina (Powell) Dyer.

I understand that Martin made caskets while living in Roff, Oklahoma and that he was buried in the last casket that he made.
