Listed in 1880 census with wife Sarah, daughter Emeretta, son-in-law Lindsey Morehart, their child Charles, Henry Crist, and grand- daughter Lydia A. Beck. He states he was born in Ohio and father in PA. On pgs 665 and 666 of Biographical Memoirs of Wyandot County, Ohio is an article on son Henry Bachar. It gives death dates of both Jacob and wife Sarah Beck and states they were both born in Fairfield County, Ohio. It states Jacob C. Bachar came to Wyandotte County when he was 21 years old (1835) and located on 80 acres that his father gave him. This land was on section 22 of Ridge Twp. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Listed in 1850 and 1880 census in Ridge Twp. Tombstone shows spelling of BAUGHER, he and his wife both in row 8 in cemetary almost directly behind her father and mother, Andrew and Catherine Beck.
