Probably born in England settled in Ireland with the 23 militiamen in the Ulster Plantation before 1630.He lived on120 acres in Richard Copes half of the 2000 acre estate.
Unsure where he married Katherine. It is possible he signed a deed in 1674 and did not die in the Irish rebellion of 1641. Valentine is the only known child but it is possible there were others.
The estate is now known as Portdown. This included the town land of Ballyvickcrannell, now known as Ballymacrandal.
There is quite a lot of paper regarding Henry and Valentine. Deeds,court records, church records etc.
We now know of only one son,Valentine, of Henry it is possible that there were others. Gent. Henry Hollingsworth of King Hill in County Down of John,Hugh or Francis serving in the army in 1644 in Doublin were all possible sons of Henry.
