Ole Martinus Olsson Apalset Nydahl was from Orskog area according to the Christine Nydahl Foss notes from a relative in Norway.We do not know if he was born there.Also I don't know where the name Nydahl came from...haven't been able to trace that name.
Ole was killed in a drowning accident in Norway.He was a fisherman by trade.

After Sofie's husband Ole Martinus death in 1890 she moved to a house in Skogadalen(the Wood Valley) of Norway.Later she travelled to her children in the U.S.A.A line follows "The house sold and moved to unknown place.."I do not know which house is meant...in Skogadalen? or the one before she moved to Skogadalen.
