Zenith, WV opposite Peters Mt. His will was signed January 21,1803 and his estate was appraised December 3, 1803. Isaac served in Maryland Militia under command of Capt. James Brown, Queen Anne's Co., MD from Feb 22 1748/1749 as a private. The inscriptions read Isaac Sowards, Soldier of the Revolution, Pioneer Settler Monroe Co., 1745 1810 date should be 1727 1803

William was son of John Wilson Lewis and Ida Rosalie Null. He was married to Minnie Belle Kearns daughter of William Brady Kearns and Maletha Haskins. He had 13 children and lived in Rome Twp., Lawrence Co., OH at Platform Hill on Rt. 217. He farmed his 91 acres plus 88 acres he rented from his father. He worked in two coal mines in Rappsburg and later at AC&F in Huntington, WV. He was injured from a fall from one of the RR cars. He died at the early age of 43.
