The Gijsberti-Hodenpijl Coat of Arms as it appears in the History book which was prepared for the King in the late 1800's. Written/compiled by A.A. Vorsterman van Oyen, 1885-1890. The notes were added for describing the elements. Philip Gijsberti and Hester Hodenpijl were married and formed the Gijsberti-Hodenpijl name. Philip is a descendant of the famous Dutch Sea Hero Admiral Maarten Harpertszoon Tromp. Hester Hodenpijl descends from a long list of Hodenpijl Knights. This is our connection to Royalty.
