The names that I am researching are Hoover or Hoofer as it was before being changed. The family originated in the Germany/France area.They immegrated sometime in the early 1800's (I think).mostly what I have, has been from family Bibles and is mostly names and some general dates.

Also I am researching the name McIntosh from around the area of Inverness Shire Scotland. I have a family history passed down that is slim at best from now until back to around 1753, and would like to find out more.
