My daughter April, and I began doing family research in 1993. We have spent many hours in musty libraries, abandoned cemeteries, and county courthouses. Since the beginning of our search, we have encountered many dead ends and frustrations and at the same time it has been a journey that has created a deep and lasting bond between us. Surnames include: Hoover,Huber, Oheron, Cable, Campbell, Clevenger, Collins, Todtenbier, McCallister, Robbins, McAdams, Heavilin, Crumrine and more . Our journey ends in Indiana by way of Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and North Carolina. The time frame is primarily from the 1700's to present. Counties in Indiana primarily include, Grant, Delaware, Wells, Jay, Randolph, and Madison. All corrections will be considered and appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to all that have contributed in this ongoing project. Source material is currently being added and pictures will soon be included. As in most genealogy research many census records have been included and many more are still waiting to be discovered. The Indiana Room in the Anderson Public Library in Anderson, Indiana, has a wealth of information for those beginning their search, as does the Grant County Library in Marion, Indiana. Organization of this research could not have been possible without the use of Family Tree Maker. Accumulating the facts is one thing, but putting it into a workable, readable format is another hurdle that would be most difficult without the Family Tree Maker.
