My Aunt Madeline was told to her from her Mother Marie Claeys, that when

she was born her Mother Ida Marie Stock, she was a week old or so, the custom

was to go to town and have a drink and Celebrate. She had no Husband to do that

so Great Grandma Stock and Grandma Marie as a baby She took a Friend went to

Town to the Bar or Saloon , Great Grandma put Grandma Marie on center of table

got a drink and then looked at this one Guy and said this is your Daughter.

Great Grandma Married Great Grandpa Petrus Claeys in 1896 Grandma was

11 Years old,He adopted Grandma which the family didn't know for years. As far as we

know Grandma was never told who her Biological Father name was.
