The James J Hooper family of Ohio

I am researching the following familys: Hooper, Mahaffey, Cotner, Boyd, Guthrie, Binkley, Leatherman, Staley,and Reagan all of which are direct ancestors.

All of the above familys immigrated to the U.S. in the mid-1700's and followed the migration routes through Pennsylvania to Washington and Westmoreland Co's PA and then on to Ohio. The Hoopers and Mahaffeys resided in Adams Co Ohio while the other branches were ultimately residing in the Allen Co Ohio area.
