Have just started researching family history, trying to track a genetic disease in family..cannot find much info on Great,great,Grandmother Elizabeth Cable, born 1849, and died 1937,buried in Centralia with my Great,great grandfather Henry Heist. His daughter,Martha married my Great Grandfather David Conrad, who had daughter Emily(Grandmother) who had daughter Beatrice Morris. Emily married Louis Morris of Minersville. Beatrice Morris (mother ) married Richard Clews (father) and had daughter Linda (me) who married James Hood of Windsor, Vt. My Son James has inherited Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy and it is inherited from mother,maternal grandmother, greatgrandmother,great,great grandmother etc. So far have found no other incidences. Females are carriers with a 50/50 chance of boys having disease. Have a lot of males in family, cousins etc and noone else with it.
