Primarily, I have been working on a complete Hoopingarner family tree for all of the branches in the country and currently have over 5,000 people dating back to the 480 A.D. through my great grandmother Louis "Loie" Horton.

A note on spelling. It seems that regardless of the spelling, Hoopingarner, Hoopengarner, Hopingardner, etc., we are all related. To save my sanity, and to make it easier to find individuals, I have chosen to use the most common spelling for all Hoopingarners. Please don't be offended, where possible I use the AKA field or other note field to show the current spelling for that individual's name.
The family first settled in Bedford Co., PA then one brother moved to Tuscarawas Co., OH and another moved to Indiana via West Virgnia. At this time there are major populations in Michigan, Indiana, and some "Hoopies" in Ohio. Of course, in recent generations we are in almost each of the 50 states.
I would love any information on possible links between Conrad and John as brothers and sons of George and possible other sons, George and Caspar. Also information on George, especially which country he came from when he sailed here out of Rotterdam in 1752.
