Researching Hope, Roop( or Rupe), Cantrell, Hylton, Horns, Johnson, and Cobbs.

The Roops or Rupes as they are sometimes spelled are originally from Germany and Virginia.

With the Hopes I've traced them to Tennessee.

The Cantrells are traced back to Buchanon Ct. Virginia.

The Hylton go back to Virginia.

The Horns go back to Pike Ct. Kentucky.

The Johnsons go back to the year 1851 with Joel Alexander Johnson. The State or Country is unknown to me.

I don't know anything about the Cobbs. They are my childrens fathers family. I do know they are African American and that they have Japaniese in them from somewhere, But thats all I know.
