| HOPKINS, MILLER, MOORE, GORE, MADDOX, LEWIS, HOWELL, HALL, WEST, POPHAM, ADDELHOLT, HENDRICKS, SMITH, CAIN, NICHOLS, HOWELL, BENEFIELD, ROGERS, BANKSTON, ABBOTT all my families are from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South & North Carolina. Addition Hopkins information: we have 3 perfect DNA matches, (2) Jack Hopkins and Roger Hopkins from George W. Hopkins (1811-1890?) lived in Roswell Cobb County Georgia and (1) Ross Hopkins from James Hopkins (1790-1865?) lived in Calhoun Gordon County Georgia. We think that James is George's father or an uncle. The Hopkins clan migrated from South Carolina into North Georgia after the Cherokee Removal (1836?) to settle on all the good lands that the Cherokee gave up. http://www.geocities.com/jshop24/index.html |
