My Hopkins family goes back to John Hopkins who arrived in Harford, Connecticut in 1613. I have over 10,000 people in this tree, mostly from the book "John Hopkins and some of his Descendants". This book was written in 1932 so I am missing about three generations of Hopkinses today. I would like to know who my living cousins are, so if you can provide your grandfather's full name, birthdate, and birthplace I may be able to connect you and your family members into our family tree. I am also reasearching my mother's grandfather Kent's family. I hit a dead end with him as he was orphaned in Whales, England as a boy and came to the U.S. as a young man to work in the iron ore mines. His name was Frank Alfred Kent, born Nov 18, 1855. He had several brothers and sisters we have never located. This is the great mystery of my geneology work. If anyone can help I would sure be appreciative. Kent Hopkins |
