The Hoppe's in Oklahoma

The reason my last name has an e at the end is because my father decided to do that when he was in school. I have been researching the family line of Hopps that have roots in Frankfort, Clinton County Indiana. My ggrandfather's name was Frederick. He married Mary Catherine Harshman 11/24/1844. He had eight children. My grandfather was born in Frankfort. My father was born in Mentone, Kosciusco County, Indiana
I can only go back as far as the name only of my gggrandfather, John. Some records show he was from Pennslyvania, some Ohio. If you can help, thanks a lot. My tree is also included.
