Jane Duff HOPPER (daughter of John HOPPER and Rachael WAY) was born 1844, and died date unknown. She married Samuel STONE.

Notes for Jane Duff HOPPER:
Jane D. Hopper may have had a daughter, Alice Shepard (Reference Mrs. Ball). There was an Alice Shepard in 1929 who was listed in Adaline Hopper's will. Adaline died before July 1, 1924 but the estate wasn't settled until 1929. Alice Shepard was not listed in Phoebe Frazier's will, which was settled in 1931. All of Martin Luther Hopper's children were listed, but not Alice Shepard. There was a phone call to Wellington, KS on January 12, 1929 and a telegram to Oklahoma City in 1929, but whether she was Jane's daughter or grand daughter has yet to be discovered. J.M.B.
