Notes for Leona May HOPPER: Leona was educated in Prairie School, Selma High School, and graduated from Stanford University in 1903. She also took two years of graduate work at Stanford. She taught school some and wrote many poems and songs. One is in the World's Fair Anthology of Verse of 1939 and called "Springtime" or "Autumn". Another poem was published in another book. She lived and died in San Gabriel, CA
