Find Family

I am researching the HOPWOOD family from the County of Manchester (Lancashire), England. Thomas HOPWOOD first appears in an 1800 marriage at Manchester Cathedral. He married Ann THOMPSON on the 18 October 1800. They had eight children: Betty (b. 1801), Samuel (b. 1803), Mary Ann (b. 1806), Thomas (b. 1808), James (b. 1813), Joseph (b. 1816), Elizabeth (b. 1818) and Jane (b. 1821). Associated families are Goodier (Lancashire), Evans (Holyhead, Wales), Wellman and Dixon (Manchester). At the moment I am researching Frederick WELLMAN who, at the time of his marriage to Phillis EVANS on the 20 December 1894, was a Marine aboard HMS Collosus. Other than the fact that he was deceased at the time of my grandmothers (Emma Solpia WELLMAN) birth on 27 July 1896 very little is known about him.Any exchange of information will be appreciated and I am willing to share any information that I have.
