Wally M. Hope - Sydney, NSW, Australia - Researching HOPE

I am and have been researching my 'HOPE' line since early 1970's and during this period have been able to trace back to early 16th century to the northern county of Northumberland. There are several villages associated with my family, some are:- Hamsterley, Cockfield, Barnard Castle, Bishop Auckland, just to name a few. Recently I have been helped by fellow researcher and relative who lives in Barnard Castle by the name of Colin Bell. Together we now have quite a comprehensive family tree.
