We are currently working the families of HORTON from VA ca 1600, WILLIAMS from MS ca 1800, WEBB from LA ca 1870, WORTHY from LA ca 1880, MCELROY from MS ca 1840.
HORTON, Hugh Horton b 1661 d 1724 m Mary SNOWDAL b 1675 ? d ca 1724 ? with lineage to present with some still needed info such as place of death and place of burial. My grandfather, Marvin Horton was married to a woman named Stella Lewis in Dallas in 1908. I am searching for any information about this woman as well. His second wife, my GM, was Laura Williams.


MCLEROY, William James b 1844, GA, d 2/9/1920 in Granbury, TX m Mary Ann POE b ? d 1882 Hood Co., TX, married Ella Hathcox in 1889 can follow thru GM to present.

WEBB, Joseph Campbell b1872 ? m Lydia Dugas b 1869 d 1956, LA.
can follow thru GM to present with exact birth, death and burial records needed.

WORTHY, Scott James b 1875 m 1899 Lelia Brown b ? d 1914.
Not much of anything found here! Lelia died in childbirth with her last child (I'm told). My GM, Lelia's daughter, was raised in a Baptist Orphanage in Monroe, LA. Can follow GM line to present but nothing prior. Scott's brother, Eugene and his wife, Kate Boone had the children and took them to the orphanage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WILLIAMS, Allen A b 1852 d? m Elizabeth Ligon b? d? thru GGF to present with names but still need death dates and burial locations!

BROWNS - Louisiana - Lavilla, Bunyan and Lelia.
