Paper 8 May 1964 - Many people here for Standley Funeral. The followi ng out of town people where her Wednesday afternoon to attend the fun eral services of Mrs. Samuel P. Standley: Rev. Merle Mitchell of Cart hage conducted the services. Sam Dickson, Miss Ruth, Miss Elizabeth , Miss Dorthy Standley, Robert Haegg, Charles Rea, Mr. and Mrs. Stand ley Van Sooy and 3 children.

Dickson Jan 15, 1927 had children Betty Jo , Mrs. Richard Creighton and son Sam Standley. One of four children a brother Howard Standley preceded her in death in 1955, survivors are Joe P. Dickson, Mary V. Standley and Mrs. Martha Van Sooy and 2 grandchildren Jeffrey and Jennifer Creighton. Burial at Oak Hill.

Obit Dec 20. 1917 extaction: Former Carroll Girl dead. Mrs. Genevieve Rea Lanzer, Popular KC girl, Victim of Tragedy Tuedsay. She had been found with a bullet wound in her breast, died soon after being taken to a hospital. Mr. and Mrs. George Burruss, Mrs. Ol Shinn, Sam Stanley and Bob Stanley left last night for KC. Mrs. Lanzer's father Dr. Charles L. Rea was out of the city. She was granddaughter of the late Mrs. Joe Rea. Was 23 years old in Nov. Survived by her father , mother Miss Victoria Stanley, brothers, Stanley and Charles Jr., and sister Miss Martha Rea. Mrs. George Burruss of this city is an aunt and Mr. Will Rea a half uncle. She had had a nervous breakdown some time ago, married to Mr. William Lanzer an oil man from Chicago, but seperated from him since last April. Funeral services will be held in KC. Burial in Oak Hill.
