I am beginning my research of the Hornsby family tree, which is my father's side of the family. As far as I can tell, his roots were in Central City, Ky. My mother's maiden name was Schirf, from Cambria County, PA. In addition, I recently discovered that I may have a sibling from my mother's first husband, a Thomas Gentles, whom I know absolutely nothing about.
