They lived in the area of Touraine east of l'Anjou on the banks of the Loire River in Western France, in the village of Marce-sur-Esves.Their son Claude is the ancestor of all Sauvageaux in North America.Was Lord of Lizzards and royal notary.He became judge advocate of the families of the venerable baronage of Ozillac and also the kings bailiff at Chateau de Purpillard in 1678.
