I am researching my adopted family, my birth mother's family, my husband's family and my oldest two sons' paternal family. (In other words quite a few family tree lines.)

My mother's family came from Poland and settled in LaPorte, Indiana. The main surnames that I am researching are: Jasinowski, Niepostyn (from Pl~ock), and Rzeznik (Reznick)(from Galacia).

For my birth mother's family, there is a book that Georgia Cooke George published in 1982 called "The Melendy family in America, 1701-1981". My birth mother's branch of the Melendy family settled in Libertyville, IL.

I am also researching my father's family from Essex County, New York. The main surnames that I am researching are Gonyo, Gowett, Jackson (family of John W., born Addison Co., VT), Noel, Rabatoy, and Sharrow.

I'm just starting researching my husband's family tree. The main surnames are Velleux, LaFrentz, DePaul, and Lococo.

The main surnames that I am researching for my two oldest sons' paternal family are: Dosmann (from Bruce Co., Ontario), Hesch (from Callbach,Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany), Horvath (from Sopron, Hungary), Leyes (from Wellesley, Waterloo Co., Ontario), Selner (from Lehigh Co., PA), and Simon. All settled in St. Joseph County, Indiana.

Check out my personal home pages for more information (link below).

Please contact me if you are also researching any of these surnames. I am willing to share my info with you.
